NEU Hospital's “Blood Donation, Life Donation” campaign started at the 40th TRNC International Fair.
With the support of the Ministry of Health, the blood donation campaign organized by the Near East University Hospital at the fairgrounds to be given to Thalassaemia patients started with the wide participation of representatives of the health, sports, tourism and business world.

Ahmet Savaşan, a member of the Board of Directors of NEU Hospital, emphasized that although there is a development in the field of medicine every day and progress has been made in the treatment of many diseases that are called the great problem of humanity, the only source of blood is still human.
“When we look at the world, we see that countries have developed their own policies to meet their blood needs and have taken important steps to ‘provide safe blood’. The first and most important condition for safe blood supply is that this blood is obtained from conscious people who are educated about the importance and necessity of blood donation. It is of great importance that the blood and blood products needed by patients are obtained from people who donate blood voluntarily and regularly. We need to raise public awareness for safe blood supply. On behalf of our hospital and the people of our country, I would like to thank the representatives of the health, sports and business world who donated their blood to contribute to the creation of this awareness.”.
